The Lenovo 01PE410 ThinkSystem 10Gb 2-port Base-T LOM is a refurbished LAN-on-Motherboard (LOM) network adapter that adds dual 10GBASE-T (RJ45 copper) connectivity to compatible Lenovo ThinkSystem server platforms. With two 10GbE Base-T ports, it’s well suited for high-bandwidth server-to-switch links using standard copper cabling (Cat6/Cat6a as appropriate), and for separating traffic types such as virtual machine, storage, and backup networks.

In Lenovo data centre builds, this LOM is commonly deployed in a RACK SERVER to provide 10GbE copper uplinks towards a top-of-rack SWITCH. Where additional I/O expansion is required beyond the onboard option, it can also be complemented with a compatible NETWORK MODULE depending on the server configuration and available expansion bays.
